In Part 1 of a two-part Ship Report, today we talk about the emerging partnership between the Coquille Tribe and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to help preserve Chinook salmon in the Coquille River in southern Oregon. Salmon numbers have reached critical lows and the tribe has the resources to help the state.
