The heavy lift ship Combi Dock I will be headed downriver this weekend on the Columbia. She came into the river Monday loaded with 98 wind turbine blades destined for wind power project upgrades in eastern Washington state.
We’ll take a closer look at this unusual ship.
Note: this morning when I did the Report she was on the schedule to leave this afternoon. Now here ETD is Saturday. A good example of how ship departure and arrival times can change on a dime.

Today we hear about a ship that took a long journey using biofuel, and an international retailer who is partnering with Maersk to reduce the carbon footprint of producing its goods.
